We are seeking a highly motivated and organized events coordinator to manage the planning of events from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage event planning including menu selection, banquet event orders, and billing charges.
- Create client event orders using software and conduct weekly meetings.
- Assist sales team with site inspections, familiarizations, tradeshows, and photo shoots.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to develop suitable menu offerings for each event/function.
- E nsure all events, menus, packages, and pricing are recorded correctly in the CRM system.
- Process payments and ensure accurate data entry.
- Welcome clients on function days and ensure they have everything needed for their day.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience with CRM software and/or POS systems is highly regarded.
- A broad understanding of the hospitality industry and venues.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and professional interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent computer literacy using Microsoft packages: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Publisher.
