Event Coordinator Position

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in events management, with tertiary qualifications and experience working in a similar role.

The primary responsibility of the Event Coordinator is to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of events, ensuring they run smoothly and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and equipment rental
  • Liaise with clients directly to organize event details and work closely with the sales team to assist potential clients
  • Create customized event programs from start to finish, tailoring them specifically to meet client objectives
  • Liaise and manage relevant suppliers as required

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Hospitality or Events
  • Prior experience in events management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong team player with results-driven approach
  • Familiarity with event management software (preferable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
