Job Description

The Safeguards and Child and Adolescent Assessment and Triage Service (CAATS) is a dedicated child and adolescent mental health service resource providing innovative and best practice care to children and adolescents aged 0-17 years experiencing acute mental health distress.

This role provides leadership to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring the provision of evidence-based best practice care to children and adolescents with mental health issues.

The team will provide advanced clinical services in line with their discipline within the Safeguard and CAATS team. The service is community based and will provide rapid, mobile, intensive and flexible short-term delivery of skilled evidence-based interventions to resolve mental health crisis both in the community and acute facilities.

About the Role:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals to deliver evidence-based mental health care to children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement best practice policies and procedures for the management of mental health crises.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care pathways for clients.
