Regional Transportation Growth Strategist
Job Description:The Regional Transportation Growth Strategist will play a pivotal role in setting the strategic vision for multi-market sector growth within the assigned region. This includes coordinating and overseeing transportation business development programs and growth initiatives with support from sub-region leaders, client development leaders, and the area marketing services manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing business development activities for major planning, design, and construction programs, as well as mega-projects. They will work closely with local operations managers and regional directors to develop strategic plans, annual goals, budgeting, program leadership, client development, community participation, project pursuits, staffing, and marketing training.
Additionally, the Regional Transportation Growth Strategist will develop and implement a 5-year strategic vision and annual plan, including alignment and budgeting. They will identify and expand markets, propose strategic investments/hires, and coordinate with counterparts across the region and company.
This role requires strong business development skills, with the ability to manage business development activities with business, operations, marketing, and project staff to maximize client satisfaction, company growth, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing transportation business development plans and budgets, tracking and reporting performance indicators, and building marketing capabilities through recruitment and staff training.
Preferred Qualifications include a BS or BA in an appropriate engineering or related discipline, 10+ years of business development experience with strategic program development, proposal preparation, and presentation management, or related experience. Professional Engineering registration (PE) is also required.
