The Theatre Venue Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the venue, ensuring the successful delivery of shows and events. They manage various tasks required for theatre operations, including managing Theatre Bars, Ushers and Stage Door, while being the liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with promoters, clients and key stakeholders to confirm show requirements.
  • Preparing and presenting show estimates identifying labour, power consumption, venue rental, cleaning, catering and other costs.
  • Managing FOH bump in and bump out requirements of shows, coordinating services and personnel.
  • Reporting on a regular basis, including performance event reports and financial reports.
Requirements

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Venue Management or equivalent.
  • 5 years senior event management experience with emphasis on theatre and/or entertainment industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
