Theatre Floor Coordinator Role

Clinical nurse professionals seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead our team as a theatre floor coordinator will be excited about this role. We are looking for an experienced nurse with a broad skillset to coordinate our 4 theatres, recovery, and CSSD areas.

About the Role:

  • You will be involved in the day-to-day coordination of theatres, recovery, and CSSD areas.
  • Assist with the development and provision of evidence-based clinical nursing practice within our multidisciplinary team.
  • Act as a clinical expert, professional role model, and change agent to promote practice development and quality initiatives that ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient-focused services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Relevant registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in a perioperative department.
  3. Minimum 2 years' theatre specialty role essential, preferable with floor coordination experience.
  4. Ensure excellence in customer service.
  5. Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of patients and/or department.
  6. Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement processes.
  7. Ability to work independently and engage and influence a team.

Requirements:

  • Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 by a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.
  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
