Job Description:

This role encompasses the coordination of theatre bookings for both private and public patients, encompassing elective and emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Booking theatre slots for clients and staff
  • Communication with Surgeons and Theatre staff
  • Wait listing of all public elective surgical patients
  • Data entry of theatre utilisation
  • Respond to telephone enquiries from doctors, customers, and ward areas

The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, excel in time management, and demonstrate advanced computer and typing skills. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Key Requirements:

  • Intermediate-advanced proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft office suite and other computer functions with ability to maintain data entry accuracy
  • Capacity to work a range of rotating shifts anywhere from 0600 - 2130
  • Proven ability to operate within a customer service focused environment
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ability to follow written instructions as directed
