Leadership Role in Perioperative Services
">- This is a leadership role that oversees the daily operations of perioperative services across two day procedure centres.
The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient-centred care aligned with national standards and regulatory frameworks.
">Main Responsibilities:">- To lead and manage the daily operations of perioperative services.
- To supervise and mentor clinical staff, overseeing onboarding, training and performance management.
- To ensure compliance with relevant standards, including NSQHS (2nd Edition), ISO 9001, and AS 5369.
- To oversee clinical risk management, incident reporting, and accreditation readiness.
- To collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise patient care and service delivery.
- A Bachelor of Nursing or higher qualification.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Legal capacity to work in Australia.
- At least five years' perioperative nursing experience, including qualifications and experience in anaesthetic nursing.
- Two years in a clinical management or leadership role.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, maintain high standards of documentation, and support escalation pathways and performance feedback processes.
