About the Position:

The Chief Nursing Officer plays a pivotal role in shaping the clinical landscape of our services. This position demands strategic vision, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of patient-centric care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your leadership skills to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple perioperative services sites.
  • Mentor and supervise a team of clinical staff, focusing on onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure seamless compliance with national standards, regulatory frameworks, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, empathy, and excellence in care by fostering open communication channels and escalation pathways.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, optimize patient care, and enhance service delivery.
  • Oversee stock management, equipment maintenance, and procurement to ensure efficient operational processes.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and workforce planning initiatives that drive organizational growth.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and secure patient records to uphold confidentiality and data integrity.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or higher qualification, current AHPRA registration, and legal capacity to work in Australia.
  • A minimum of five years' perioperative nursing experience, preferably within IVF or women's health, with postgraduate qualifications and cannulation experience highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, maintain high standards of documentation, and support performance feedback processes.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead with professionalism, empathy, and compassion while upholding organizational policies and values.
  • Commitment to collaborative practice, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional development aligned with national standards and organizational goals.
