An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Perioperative Nurse Leader to join a perioperative team at a private hospital in Brisbane. It's a permanent full-time position.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the PSM, you will lead the Perioperative Team comprising 7 theatres, DSU + 2 PR. You will build a high-performance team culture through outstanding people leadership and excellent VMO engagement.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Have a significant experience in leadership, perioperative nursing, and doctor engagement;
- Hold relevant postgraduate qualifications (highly desirable)_;_
- Be experienced at making complex decisions;
- Have a proven track record in people leadership and engagement;
- Have excellent communication skills;
- Have a thorough understanding of ACORN, sterilisation and quality standards;
- Committed to delivering exceptional patient care;
- Be comfortable with competing priorities.

**ABOUT THE FACILITY**

The hospital, located in the South East of Brisbane, is an acute facility that provides acute Medical, Day Oncology, Surgical, Maternity, Rehabilitation and Critical Care services. The facility comprises 122 inpatient beds, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms and an ICU.
