Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Services Manager to lead our perioperative services team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have extensive clinical experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to motivate and engage teams. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, sound computer skills, and knowledge of contemporary clinical risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the perioperative services team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and service quality
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve excellence in care delivery
  • Lead through a continuous improvement model to achieve high-quality patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within an acute hospital setting, preferably perioperative
  • Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a clinical services team
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through a continuous improvement model
  • Sound computer skills in MS Office suite
