Customer Service and Operations Role

Pace Appointments is seeking a proactive and solutions-oriented professional to join our team as a Customer Service and Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients, managing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders and follow-ups for air and ocean freight.
  • Track and trace shipments using internal systems, maintaining data accuracy.
  • Handle rate requests and perform cost comparisons for freight movements.
  • Liaise with origin offices to ensure compliance with operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service.
  • Generate customer reports.
  • Efficiently address and resolve complaints or queries.
  • Set up and transition new company accounts.
  • Update alerts and broadcasts for customers at destination and origin.
  • Manage cross-trade shipments.
  • Facilitate consignments from origin to delivery.

Requirements

We are looking for a well-organized and able to prioritize individual with a positive attitude and high attention to detail. Possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships. Minimum 12 months experience within a freight forwarding environment essential in a customer service or operations capacity. Cargowise experience preferred.
