Job Title: Technical Support Professional

We are seeking an experienced technical support specialist to fill a key customer-facing role.

As a Technical Support Professional, you will be part of a team of experts who serve customers across Australia. Your responsibilities will include installations, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex scientific and analytical instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintenance of complex scientific and analytical equipment
  • Perform installations from delivery to completion
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely
  • Keep customers informed and update relevant personnel on any open issues
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Advanced Diploma or above
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical support or customer service
  • Experience in precision mechanics
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Good technical hands-on skills and ability to work with tools
  • Ability to travel up to 50-60% of working time across Australasia
  • Ability to solve problems under stressful conditions
  • Politeness and diplomacy
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Initiative and ability to work at different hierarchical levels
  • Independence and teamwork skills
  • Passion for customer service
Nice to Have:
  • Background in XRF or XRD would be an asset
  • Radiation safety license
  • Experience with other analytical equipment
