Job Title:

Learning and Development Engagement Officer

About the Role:

The Workforce Learning and Development Team is responsible for developing and delivering accredited and non-accredited learning and development solutions.

This role involves proactively engaging with clients to understand their workforce learning and development requirements, preparing proposals and submissions, supporting innovation programs, and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building a deep understanding of sector needs, priorities, and emerging trends.
  • Identifying and nurturing business development opportunities.
  • Designing targeted marketing initiatives to promote offerings.
  • Engaging with clients to qualify leads and develop tailored proposals.
  • Securing sales and fostering client relationships.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of systems and processes for a seamless customer experience and operational compliance.
Accountabilities:
  • Effectively managing the sales cycle and adhering to the sales decision process.
  • Developing and implementing relevant sales and marketing programs.
  • Building strong relationships with sector representatives.
  • Responding to client enquiries in a personable and timely manner and working with colleagues to develop learning and development proposals.
  • Negotiating and finalising contracts.
  • Tracking sector trends and gaps to inform priorities and identifying new focus areas.
  • Consulting with clients through feedback mechanisms.
  • Identifying business development opportunities for the Centre.
  • Co-developing funding submissions where applicable.
  • Preparing reports to reflect operational insights.
  • Developing operational processes and procedures.
  • Supporting innovation programs and strategic projects.
