Health Service Design Lead Role

We are seeking a skilled Health Service Design Lead to oversee health service evaluations and design initiatives that enhance optimisation, innovation, and exploration across workstreams.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing service review and design initiatives that optimise, innovate, and explore new or enhanced models of care. They will work closely with external and internal stakeholders, including funders, to identify, co-design, and deliver improved or innovative models of care.

The role involves contributing to peer-reviewed journals by publishing insights related to service design and development, presenting findings at conferences and other public forums, and assisting in grant and tender applications for service refinement or innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage service review and design initiatives that optimise, innovate, and explore new or enhanced models of care
  • Work closely with external and internal stakeholders, including funders, to identify, co-design, and deliver improved or innovative models of care
  • Contribute to peer-reviewed journals by publishing insights related to service design and development
  • Assist in grant and tender applications for service refinement or innovation
Requirements
  • Relevant health degree with postgraduate qualification desirable
  • Clinical leadership experience essential
  • Service design and delivery excellence required
  • Program logic and evaluation knowledge necessary
  • Interpersonal and communication skills crucial
  • Leadership competence expected
  • External relationship building necessary
