Overview

This is a permanent full-time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight or a fixed term full-time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile

The Director, Allied Health & Integrated Care provides strategic, professional and operational leadership for allied health and community-based care services within the Community and Virtual Care Directorate. The role leads planning, delivery and governance of multidisciplinary programs supporting care coordination, complex assessments, and non-admitted patient management across the care continuum. It drives innovation in virtual and integrated care models, advances allied health workforce reform, and ensures safe, high-quality, evidence-based practice. The Director partners with internal and external stakeholders to support service integration, digital enablement, and system sustainability, while contributing to EMHS-wide reform, performance improvement and strategic development.

Area Profile

The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises a broad hospital and health service network aiming to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 790,000 Western Australians in its catchment area. The hospital network provides tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women's, children's and neonates services. The EMHS consists of Royal Perth Hospital; Armadale Health Service; Bentley Health Service; Kalamunda Hospital; St John of God Midland Public Hospital and a range of community and population health services.
