Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Guildford Grammar School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join their team. As a key member of the school's leadership team, the CFO will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and leadership to ensure the school's financial sustainability and stability.

About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to achieve the school's goals and objectives
  • Providing financial guidance and advice to the Principal and other senior leaders
  • Overseeing the school's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Managing the school's financial risk and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Leading and developing a team of financial professionals to ensure the school's financial management is of the highest standard

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Chief Financial Officer or in a similar financial leadership role
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in financial modeling, business planning, and tax management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk management and governance practices
  • Advanced data analysis skills and experience with modern financial management tools
  • Ability to work efficiently in a technology-driven environment and proficient in Apple, Microsoft, and other cloud-based collaborative applications

Guildford Grammar School offers a competitive remuneration package, including a generous salary, annual leave, and a discount on school fees for children who attend the school. The successful candidate will also be required to enter into an executive contract for a period of five years with an option to renew based on mutual agreement and provided that performance criteria are met.
