We have an experienced Centre Director who has been working in Childcare since 2004, leading our centre at Mount Louisa. Our centre offers a home-like environment for our staff, children, and families, with a unique opportunity to provide individualized care.
Job Summary
We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Goodstart Mount Louisa. This role involves working with children from birth to six years old, providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment that promotes their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Estimated Salary: $73,000 - $85,000 per annum
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement high-quality educational programs for children aged birth to six years old;
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues;
- Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to support their development;
- Collaborate with other educators to ensure consistency in program delivery and quality outcomes;
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for children, including adhering to infection control procedures and maintaining accurate records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent);
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards;
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
