About the Role:

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in audit services, with a proven track record of leading complex engagements and delivering exceptional results.

The Audit Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of audit methodologies, and a commitment to excellence.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory frameworks. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Provide guidance and support to audit team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional development.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends, ensuring compliance and best practices in audit processes and procedures.
  • Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and other relevant documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and meet client needs.

Qualifications:

  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in public practice, with a focus on audit services.
  • Proven track record of managing complex audit engagements and delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
