This role is part of our Process and Controls team, focusing on internal audit and assurance services within government & public sector entities.

Your work will enhance services delivered to citizens, safeguard public funds, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide insights for better governance and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead internal audit projects, ensuring timely completion, scope adherence, and high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with clients to understand needs and develop tailored internal audit strategies addressing risk management and process controls.
  • Apply project management skills to oversee successful execution of audit plans from initiation to completion.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience in project delivery, preferably in internal audit or risk management, or within public sector.
  • A foundation in risk and control principles, track record of managing audit or risk-related projects with diligence and precision, or willingness to learn.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to work in Canberra. Must hold or upgrade to an NV1 clearance.
