We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Allan Hall Business Advisors. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to grow our customer base in Brisbane, with a focus on securing new business and managing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase revenue and expand our customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, in-person visits, and strategic outreach
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product releases to drive business growth and strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business growth initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or internal sales professional in a relevant sector
- Strong knowledge of the industrial supply market, particularly construction equipment, fasteners, power tools, adhesives, and tools
- Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive business growth
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, leveraging initiative and self-direction
- Willingness to travel within your territory to engage with clients
- Australian/NZ citizenship or residency
