
Professional Claims Management Specialist

The role of a Claims Handler is to manage and settle claims in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that customers receive fair and equitable treatment. This involves investigating and assessing claims, negotiating with claimants and insurers, and making decisions on coverage and compensation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage claims files and data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.
- Investigate and assess claims, determining liability and extent of loss.
- Negotiate with claimants and insurers to reach mutually beneficial settlements.
- Making decisions on coverage and compensation, ensuring compliance with insurance policies and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth claims processing.
- Experience in general insurance claims management, preferably in casualty and financial lines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex claims data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
