Claims Management Specialist

We are seeking a professional Claims Management Specialist to join our team in Sydney. This role involves managing end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of insurance claims, conducting accurate reserving and investigating claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of general insurance claims for local government clients, focusing on liability claims.
  • Conduct thorough claims investigations, manage costs and negotiate with third parties.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Current or previous experience in end-to-end claims management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • A customer-focused approach.
  • The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing public liability/casualty claims.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Law, Business or Loss Adjusting.
  • Previous client-facing experience.
