The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately AU$85,000, offering a generous compensation package with potential for annual bonuses.


Job Description


As a Financial Professional, you will be an active member of the Finance team, contributing to various tasks ranging from account receivables/payables, financial reporting, data analysis, and business partnership. Your role will involve supporting the Business Controller and Rental Management team to facilitate informed decision-making.


You will develop and implement robust internal control procedures, ensure accuracy of financial records, and review/update company policies and procedures to maintain compliance with IFRS guidelines and local statutory rules.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Regularly review and update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with 'The Way We Do Things', IFRS guidelines, and local statutory rules.
  • Perform monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, manage time effectively to meet all deadlines.
  • Analyse past results, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements and optimization.
  • Present complex financial information clearly and actionable.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy in the ERP system.
  • Support the Business Controller in budgeting and planning processes, CRM/BRM preparation, and management reports.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to other business areas.
  • Manage tangible assets, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with Group policy.
  • Manage expense claims and participate in ad-hoc projects.
  • Collaborate with external/internal auditors and provide taxation information as required.
  • Assist the broader finance team with transactional accounting functions.

Requirements



  • University degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar academic background.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting.
  • High level of analytical skills, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and intermediate PC skills with advanced Excel skills.
  • Desirable: exposure to ERP systems.
