Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst at Atlas Copco, you will be an active member in the Finance team, contributing to various aspects of financial management. This role encompasses responsibilities such as account receivables/payables, financial reporting, data analysis, and business analysis. You will provide support to the Business Controller and Rental Management team, facilitating informed decision-making and fostering a strategic business partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Regularly review and update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with 'The Way We Do Things', IFRS guidelines, and local statutory rules.
- Perform monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, effective time management to meet all reporting and project deadlines.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation, review, and follow-up on outstanding items.
- Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify & analyse trends, and make recommendations for improvements & optimization.
- Interpret financial data and complex financial information, presenting it in a clear, actionable manner.
- Utilize various tools (Power BI, Microsoft Query etc.) to create data visualizations highlighting key metrics and financial performance.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy, maintain data in ERP system.
- Support Business Controller in budgeting and planning process, CRM/BRM preparation, management reports, etc.
- Providing accurate and timely information to other business areas.
- Asset management – maintaining company's tangible assets, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with Group policy.
- Management of the expense claims.
- Be an active member in ad-hoc projects.
- Provide support to external/internal auditor, annual taxation information as required.
- Provide guidance and support to the broader finance team for transactional accounting functions, such as accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar academic background.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting.
- High level of analytical skills.
- High level of communication and organisational skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Intermediate PC skills with advanced skills in Excel.
- Exposure to ERP would be desirable.
