Alto Blacktown is seeking an experienced Accounting professional to join our team as an Assistant Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for processing daily bank statements, creating and reviewing payment batches, and managing credit facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Process daily bank statements, cash, cheques, and EFTPOS transactions.
- Create and review daily payment batches.
- Manage credit facilities and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Prepare weekly reports for the Financial Controller and General Manager on outstanding debtors.
- Reconcile various general ledger accounts, including registration clearing, new and used vehicle inventory, customer deposits, and customer refunds.
- Previous experience in an Accounts or Accounting role.
- Experience working in the automotive industry is highly regarded.
- Ambition to complete studies or have completed studies in an accounting field.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
