Drive exceptional performance in HESS Operations across Queensland.

This role will be based in Brisbane and will require regular travel to stores across the Queensland region.

We are looking for a Health, Environment, Safety and Security (HESS) specialist to partner with business areas and drive continuous improvement and excellence in EG's HESS strategy.

About the Role:

  • Manage and maintain our Safety Management System (SMS), providing technical expertise in developing, reviewing and updating SMS resources.
  • Identify emerging HESS risks and assist/advise stakeholders with managing these risks.
  • Maintain HESS Performance reports for KPIs and report progress to plan.
  • Manage External Audits preparation and actions plans, including regulatory notices and site HESS audits.
  • Delve post incident reviews and implement recommendations to lead the investigation of serious incidents and high potential near misses.
  • Support and advise the Retail Operations team in undertaking Security Risk Assessments.
  • Assist stakeholders in Return to Work and Workers Comp management of injuries.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a HESS Business Partner role with Multi-site HESS experience.
  • A minimum Certificate IV or equivalent in Health and Safety.
  • Excellent Communicator and great stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with Food to go or PFS operations.
  • A love for people and a passion for Safety.
