About the Role:
The Business Growth Manager will be part of a dynamic team responsible for acquiring new business and driving growth. This is an exciting opportunity to develop strong client relationships, prepare new business submissions, and establish a relevant network of business contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the acquisition of new business by developing strong client relationships.
- Prepare high-quality new business submissions and quotes.
- Establish and maintain a relevant network of business contacts, including insurers.
- Contribute to the development of client revenue budgets and monitor performance against these budgets.
- Maintain up-to-date management of databases, information systems, and company records.
- Gather client information to support new business documentation.
- Proactively manage and resolve client issues, responding promptly to client enquiries.
- E nsure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Financial Services Act.
- Stay informed of industry trends through regular meetings and events.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements.
- Make decisions on how to escalate issues or create cross-marketing opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Sales driven with an understanding of targeted selling processes.
- Client servicing skills.
- Business acumen and business development skills.
- Extensive knowledge of technical competencies and insurance products.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Benefits & Career Advancement:
- Diploma of Financial services or other relevant tertiary qualifications advantageous.
- Essential Tier 1 Insurance broking qualifications.
- Previous experience in insurance or financial services beneficial.
