Award-winning organisation Everyday Independence is seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide life-changing therapy to individuals with disabilities in the Keilor East area. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for delivering behaviour support services that empower participants to achieve their goals and maximise their NDIS funding.

About the Role
This full-time or part-time position (4 days per week) offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess and address complex behavioural challenges, developing and implementing tailored Behaviour Support Plans that incorporate positive behaviour support frameworks and function-based strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing high-quality behaviour support services to NDIS participants in Keilor East and surrounding areas
  • Conducting functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) and developing effective Behaviour Support Plans
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
  • Building strong relationships with participants, families, and carers to ensure seamless support

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
  • a minimum of 12 months' experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • a relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field)
  • a valid Australian driver's licence
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
