About The Role

We're seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our team as full-time or part-time (4 days per week) Behaviour Therapists. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.

Your Responsibilities
  • Utilize assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
  • Build meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilising positive behaviour support framework
  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
  • Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges

Requirements
  • Be deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (evidence of letter required)
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field)
