About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team at eFinancialCareers Ltd. as a Business Development Associate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of business leads and introductions to maximize income growth
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to create and implement a business strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify areas of opportunity to increase our market share and new target clients
  • Assist in creating brand recognition and awareness by working closely with product and delivery partners to market our full range of products and services
  • Attend external loan/DCM market-related conferences for market knowledge and networking opportunities
  • Review external market publications and disseminate key information across the Business Development team
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to create pitch material for Senior Business Development colleagues to present at client meetings
  • Arrange and coordinate client entertainment and networking events
  • Attend/accompany Senior Business Development colleagues to meeting opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver fee proposals on new opportunities
  • Monitor outstanding fee proposals and conduct periodic follow-ups
  • Assist in improving the client experience by following a won mandate from inception to close
  • Present regular updates of deal, meeting, and proposal activity to the head of APAC Business Development
  • Deliver accurate MI to Senior Management on a regular basis on the financial performance and key sales metrics
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting on our Loan and DCM book
  • Highlight/escalate key commercial terms of facility documentation to senior Business Development colleagues
  • Assist in arranging internal approval for any product or service not included in our Terms of Reference
  • Assist in preparing presentations to Senior Management at internal committees
  • Assist in the weekly preparation of recently resulted and open mandates
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of sales and business development experience
  • Good knowledge of the loan and DCM markets
  • Proven record of achieving sales and client calling objectives
  • Knowledge of key sectors in the region and regional transactions
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Collaborative working with each Business Unit
  • Self-motivation and effective time management
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
