About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Yooralla.
Job Description
This fulfilling role will provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services across the scope of practice to adults with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Your working days may involve:
- delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings or in the community; aimed at supporting clients to achieve their goals
- communication skills and/or mealtime safety and promoting overall health and wellbeing.
- working part of an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Psychologists
- providing indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you'll share Yooralla's values and have:
- experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model
- the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families
- a willingness to improve on your clinical practice – including the ability to self-reflect and a focus on developing clinical skills in areas you're not familiar with
- Current membership with SPA
- care for the work you do and for the people you work with
- competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems
- good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- an Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across the Eastern region of Melbourne as required

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $85,380.74 - $104,551.89 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging.
