Senior Speech Pathologist Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated senior speech pathologist to lead our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a small therapy team to provide high-quality clinical services
  • Provide assessment and therapy to clients in the clinic or via telehealth
  • Manage client onboarding and ensure seamless integration into our services
  • Attend weekly team meetings to discuss client cases and engage in professional development
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and external health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients
  • Occasionally visit clients in the community to provide additional support
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner, including progress notes, reports, and letters
  • Maintain a capped caseload to ensure the highest level of care and work-life balance for our staff and clients
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a certified practicing speech pathologist
  • SPA membership and current working with children check
  • National police check and full Australian working rights
  • Eligibility for Medicare provider status and professional indemnity insurance
  • Ability to work independently and seek clinical guidance as needed
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice principles and commitment to ongoing professional development
Preferred Criteria:
  • Experience working with the NDIS and supervising junior staff and/or students
  • Experience or interest in working with external multidisciplinary teams
  • Driver's license and willingness to occasionally visit clients in the community
