As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional experiences for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to creating lasting memories.
You will be responsible for delivering warm, engaging, and knowledgeable service to all guests at all times. Your friendly demeanor and passion for hospitality will make a significant difference in their stay with us.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations. You will also be handling guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual who can work effectively under pressure, think on their feet, and prioritize tasks efficiently. If you have a strong focus on customer satisfaction, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to guests at all times.
- Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently.
- Process reservations and handle guest inquiries.
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Organize and distribute guest messages and mail.
- Record guest comments and feedback.
- Maintain accurate records and reconcile cashier floats.
- Document all transactions and alterations to accounts.
- Carry out transactions in foreign currency accurately.
- Collect payment of accounts and issue receipts.
- Ensure all guest details are up-to-date and accurate.
- Ensure guests are aware of property features and benefits.
- Conduct thorough handovers of information to colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and software.
- The ability to work a flexible 7-day roster.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-presented and able to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
- A strong focus on customer satisfaction and excellent service delivery.
- Able to work under pressure, think on your feet, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues.
