About the Role:

The Performance Director will be responsible for leading the paid social strategy and team output. This role requires a sound technical understanding of paid social media and the ability to confidently liaise with creative agencies. The Director will manage all operations, from ensuring quality implementation, providing strategic direction to the team, maintaining the financial health of all performance accounts, scoping projects, and developing the team to become future leaders.

Together with the team and the Group Activations Lead/General Manager, the Performance Director will deliver market-leading services and performance media strategies, ultimately maintaining Kinesso's status as global performance marketing leaders.

Success in this role is defined by:

  • Strong collaboration & partnership with client and agency partners
  • Contribute to the success of the company through revenue growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the social strategy (owned, earned, paid) across a banking client and work closely with organic social agency
  • Work closely with the social team & ensure quality output is delivered in a timely manner
  • Create & distribute a clear team roles & responsibilities list to ensure the team & client have clarity in who is providing and supporting what.
  • Position yourself & the team as social experts to the banking client
  • Demonstrate social thought leadership to drive the account forward or to stimulate conversation and grow the knowledge base.
  • Work closely with the creative agency to ensure social content is fit for purpose, engaging & aligns with the wider media strategy
  • Work with the digital manager to lead the T&L framework, making sure all Test & Learns support the social and media strategy
  • Work with the team and Digital Director to drive proactive recommendations in line with our digital approach & the client's targets
  • Work closely with key partners like Meta, LinkedIn & TT to provide maximum value to the client e.g., alphas, limited betas etc.
  • Work with the Planning team to ensure the social strategy aligns with the media strategy
  • Lead bottoms up forecasting and planning with support of the Social Manager
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders at and the main point of contact for Paid Social
  • Stay up to date with changes across key social platforms such as Meta, TT, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Reddit. Identify and present opportunities that align with Banking's business goals and the media strategy
