Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team for a critical assignment in the Health sector. This is a unique opportunity to work on a physical rollout of Windows 11, deploying new technology infrastructure that will support our clients' business functions.

About the Assignment
  • Deploy desktops with Windows 11 as part of a larger IT infrastructure project.
  • This is an initial engagement with potential opportunities for ongoing work.
  • Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (8-hour days).
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-deployment planning and testing to ensure successful execution.
  • Backup and restore data as required during the deployment process.
  • Conduct the physical upgrade and reimage of devices to Windows 11.
  • Install standard software and applications.
  • Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting services.
  • Document the rollout process and any issues encountered.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in Windows deployment and similar roles.
  • Hands-on experience with device upgrades and reimaging.
  • Proficiency in data backup, restoration, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in installing and configuring standard and custom software applications.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience working with NSW Health organizations is advantageous.
