Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team for a critical assignment in the Health sector. This is a unique opportunity to work on a physical rollout of Windows 11, deploying new technology infrastructure that will support our clients' business functions.
About the Assignment
Deploy desktops with Windows 11 as part of a larger IT infrastructure project.
This is an initial engagement with potential opportunities for ongoing work.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (8-hour days).
Key Responsibilities
Perform pre-deployment planning and testing to ensure successful execution.
Backup and restore data as required during the deployment process.
Conduct the physical upgrade and reimage of devices to Windows 11.
Install standard software and applications.
Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting services.
Document the rollout process and any issues encountered.
Requirements
Demonstrable experience in Windows deployment and similar roles.
Hands-on experience with device upgrades and reimaging.
Proficiency in data backup, restoration, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience in installing and configuring standard and custom software applications.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Prior experience working with NSW Health organizations is advantageous.
