Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Infrastructure Specialist to play a critical role in supporting the investigation, planning, and delivery of maintenance and construction works across various civil assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that these assets are maintained to the highest standard, while promoting sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and public safety. This includes managing external contractors and suppliers, providing technical engineering support, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective communication on projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Investigate asset condition and recommend remedial works
  • Assist with planning and implementation of civil infrastructure maintenance programs
  • Manage external contractors and suppliers
  • Provide technical engineering support across teams
  • Liaise with residents, utilities, and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in investigation, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of road, drainage, coastal and public infrastructure assets
  • Familiarity with local government standards, regulations, and contract management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
