Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Human Resources leader to oversee the HR function across a global consumer brand's largest national sites in Brisbane, managing a diverse and multicultural workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a 15-person HR team, elevating the HR function and developing line manager capability in labour planning, shift rosters, and workforce productivity.
  • Manage industrial relations, including EBA negotiations, award interpretation, union engagement, and governance and compliance.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and workforce planning for a dynamic blue-collar environment.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to operational leaders, providing practical and commercially focused leadership.

Requirements:

  • Experienced HR professional with a proven track record in HR management or senior HR leadership roles within manufacturing, FMCG, or large-scale industrial operations.
  • Proven expertise in industrial relations, EBAs, and union engagement.
  • Able to manage and grow large HR teams in complex environments.
  • Pragmatic and calm leadership style, with maturity to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working with highly diverse workforces.
