We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in Newcastle, Australia.
This role is responsible for supporting the continued growth and expansion of our project activities with key customers, business partners, and ensuring smooth resource coordination with our product development activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading projects, tackling complex engineering problems and commercial issues throughout the project life cycle.
- Managing internal teams, contractors, and fostering ownership culture.
- Closely working with R&D teams, product development, and other departments for seamless integration of research outputs into product processes.
- Facilitating communication between teams to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Developing strong relationships with customers, managing expectations, solving issues, and identifying additional opportunities within ongoing projects.
- Liaising between sales, operations, engineering teams, and subcontractors.
- Collaborating with pre-sales teams to draft statements of work.
- Managing project delivery, including budget maintenance, cost control, tracking, and reporting internally and externally.
- Identifying risks and opportunities, executing risk mitigation plans.
- Providing technical or commercial interface with key project clients.
- Ensuring activities align with management systems, best practices, and relevant standards and legislative requirements.
