We are seeking a highly skilled Building Project Scheduler to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for providing scheduling services across diverse building projects.

Your Role

As a Building Project Scheduler, your primary responsibility will be to conduct pre-baseline reviews of contractors' programs to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and industry standard scheduling practices. You will also prepare progress update reports, highlighting key schedule risks and opportunities to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling services across diverse building projects.
  • Conduct pre-baseline reviews of contractors' programs to check adherence to required contractual requirements and industry standard scheduling practices.
  • Prepare progress update reports and highlight key schedule risks and opportunities to clients.
  • Recommend corrective action and create acceleration programs in case of major delays.
  • Conduct delay analysis and assist the Senior Scheduler in delay claims management.
  • Arrange meetings with multiple client-side stakeholders to understand their inputs and deliverables during the project and create an integrated master works program including all these dependencies linked to main contractors' program.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines - Engineering, Construction, Building or Project Management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a scheduler/planner on building projects.
  • Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6.
  • Candidates with prior on-site working experience on construction projects will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end construction processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
