Job Title

A dedicated Rates Officer is required to provide exceptional service to ratepayers and other internal and external customers. This role is responsible for maintaining records and registers relating to rates, charges and effective day-to-day operations of the Revenue Unit Team.

  • Maintain accuracy of rate account balances in response to part-year rating of rates and annual charges.
  • Process and verify Notice of Sale and Transfers.
  • Provide customer service solutions in a diplomatic and timely manner.
Requirements

This position requires an individual with:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or relevant experience in a rating environment.
  • Proof of Australian residency or citizenship.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute to team goals.
  • Proven sound keyboard and data entry skills in various computer programs.
