LGBTQI+ Healthcare Coordinator Role
This position involves coordinating and implementing activities to enhance access to healthcare for the LGBTQI+ population in Western Sydney Local Health District. The successful candidate will work closely with relevant services within the district to deliver high-quality care to LGBTIQ+ individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement initiatives to improve healthcare access for the LGBTQI+ community
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best practices in LGBTQI+ healthcare
- Assist in driving the implementation of the NSW LGBTQI+ Health Strategy 2022-2027, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Maintain effective partnerships with multiple stakeholders to advance LGBTQI+ health outcomes
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant health discipline, combined with at least three years of post-graduation experience
- Proven track record in project management, including change management, implementation methodology, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation
- Demonstrated understanding of LGBTQI+ issues within Western Sydney Local Health District
- Able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Excellent time management skills
- Possesses high-level communication, negotiation, report writing, and research skills
