LGBTQI+ Healthcare Coordinator Role

This position involves coordinating and implementing activities to enhance access to healthcare for the LGBTQI+ population in Western Sydney Local Health District. The successful candidate will work closely with relevant services within the district to deliver high-quality care to LGBTIQ+ individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve healthcare access for the LGBTQI+ community
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best practices in LGBTQI+ healthcare
  • Assist in driving the implementation of the NSW LGBTQI+ Health Strategy 2022-2027, ensuring alignment with project objectives
  • Maintain effective partnerships with multiple stakeholders to advance LGBTQI+ health outcomes

Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant health discipline, combined with at least three years of post-graduation experience
  • Proven track record in project management, including change management, implementation methodology, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Demonstrated understanding of LGBTQI+ issues within Western Sydney Local Health District
  • Able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Possesses high-level communication, negotiation, report writing, and research skills
