We're seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our team of software engineers in building innovative solutions.
About the Role
- Manage a team developing player-facing features, ensuring good practices and collaboration across disciplines.
- Participate in discussions about product vision and ensure clarity to engineers and their teams.
- Guide technical design of client and backend features for long-term maintainability and scalability.
- Break down multi-month projects into smaller tasks and implement engineering standards.
- Coach junior engineers through code reviews and 1-on-1 feedback.
- Troubleshoot live service issues as part of an on-call rotation.
- Mentor engineers identifying growth opportunities.
- Manage team health and performance with empathy and authenticity, building trust and inspiring challenges.
- Seek perspectives to solve problems, encouraging contributions from engineers and others.
- Provide technical expertise throughout the product life cycle, improving software quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience directly leading a software delivery team as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead & Mentor.
- 5+ years of experience as a hands-on software engineer.
- Experience across multiple systems and languages.
- Collaboration experience across departments and disciplines.
