Business Development Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Lead to drive market profile raising and support content creation and engagement with media.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business development, be able to provide key insights to stakeholders, and support on the development and marketing of emerging products and service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage practice groups in alignment with our strategic objectives, supporting on the implementation of our Strategy at the practice area level;
  • Work with senior stakeholders to identify and proactively pursue growth opportunities;
  • Identify, plan and execute specific client engagement opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with legal/client development experience gained from a professional services environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and proactively;
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate;
  • Strong project management skills and a proactive and pragmatic style;
  • Proven leadership skills;
  • People/team management skills;
  • Resilience and self-motivation, able to work to competing deadlines with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
