Development Manager Role Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of fundraising and marketing programs. The successful candidate will support growth through database management, special event oversight, and administrative tasks within the Development Department.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Managing donor databases to ensure accurate and timely gift records
  • Coordinating special events and providing direct administrative support to senior development staff
  • Assisting with proposal preparation, Agency reporting, and marketing efforts

To excel in this position, candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as high computer literacy. Prior experience managing a donor database and familiarity with email marketing platforms and social media are highly desirable.

Additionally, this role requires reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with two or less moving violations. As a critical member of the Development Team, the Development Coordinator plays a vital part in driving fundraising growth and supporting departmental success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five years of non-profit development, administrative, and database experience
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High computer literacy
