Position Overview: Director, Fundraising and Partnerships

The Director of Fundraising and Partnerships will be responsible for leading the growth and retention of strategic corporate partnerships and fundraising initiatives. Reporting directly to the Board, this senior role is critical to ensuring the sustainability and continued impact of the Foundation.

You will independently identify, secure, and manage high-value partnerships, negotiate mutually beneficial agreements, and confidently pitch compelling business cases that align with Brainchild's mission. This is a high-impact role where your strategic efforts will directly support families in need.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the acquisition and management of strategic partnerships with a focus on long-term, high-value relationships.

Drive targeted fundraising initiatives in line with the Foundation's strategic goals and financial sustainability.

Deliver measurable results that support Brainchild's operational budget and community impact.

Develop and maintain a disciplined pipeline management approach for new and existing opportunities.

Work autonomously while engaging effectively with the Board for guidance and strategic alignment.

Key Requirements

Demonstrated success in fundraising, business development, or partnership roles—ideally within the not-for-profit sector.

Strong personal and professional networks that can be leveraged to benefit the Foundation.

Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs in similar roles, including partnership acquisition and revenue generation.

Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to craft persuasive proposals.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, capture planning, and bid development capabilities.

What We Offer

Remuneration:$45,000 + superannuation for 12 hours per week (pro-rata equivalent: approx. $138,000 FTE).

Flexibility:Work-from-home role with highly flexible hours. Immediate Start.
