Full-Time Monday to Friday 37.5 hour week

Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships that support life-changing causes? Join the Catholic Foundation as a Donor Relations Specialist and help deepen donor engagement across the Archdiocese of Brisbane.

We're looking for a dynamic, mission-aligned professional to manage a portfolio of mid-level donors, craft personalised donor journeys, and help inspire greater philanthropic support for the good works of the Church.

About Us

The Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane serves over 1.2 million people through its network of parishes, schools, and outreach services. The Catholic Foundation plays a vital role in supporting ministries across aged care, family support, disability services, and more.

The Communication & Engagement Office supports the mission of the Church through media, digital strategy, fundraising, and brand storytelling — creating deep and authentic connections with donors and the wider community.

Your Role

As The Donor Relations Specialist, You Will

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of ~1,500 mid-level donors with tailored stewardship and engagement strategies.
  • Create personalised communications and impact stories that connect donors to the mission.
  • Use data insights to identify and cultivate potential major gift and bequest donors.
  • Work collaboratively with fundraising, communications, and events teams to deliver seamless donor experiences.
  • Act as the key contact for donors — thanking, informing, and engaging them with authenticity and care.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will bring:
  • 5-7 years of experience in fundraising, membership engagement, or donor stewardship.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Experience working with CRMs (e.g., Raiser's Edge) and donor data.
  • A heart for mission and an appreciation of Catholic social teaching.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with care and professionalism.
