About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to support our Paradise Dam Improvement Project team.
This is a permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday, with ongoing career opportunities, based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the project team in multiple areas of both the Finance and Commercial space.
- Assist the finance team in the preparation for End of Month requirements.
- Coordination and administration of financial reporting deliverables.
- Ad-hoc support to the project Finance team as requested to assist with achievement of daily tasks and reporting obligations.
- Effectively and accurately communicate financial reporting deadlines and timelines.
- Management of invoice payments for relevant Finance matters using Oracle.
Requirements for this role
- Minimum 3 years accounting/finance experience working with a Tier 1 construction company.
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft office, experience in JDE, Oracle preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a project environment and deliver on deadlines.
- Experience in end of month reporting, claim submissions, purchase orders and procurement.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High degree of professionalism and discretion in relation to confidential information.
