About the Company

Davidson Recruitment is a preferred supplier for the Government sector, with strong partnerships within Local, State and Federal Government. We have an opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer with a strong background in finance to join our team.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting senior staff in the administrative duties in the finance department of a leading State Government department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reconciling financial transactions with accuracy
  • Maintaining accurate client records
  • General Ledger accounting knowledge
  • Navigating multiple financial and client software/systems
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel to maintain and develop spreadsheets

About You

  • You will have high attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in processing large volumes of work with accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience is preferred
  • Computer literacy – Ability to navigate different software and dashboards
